Empresa fácil: um estudo sobre os reflexos do registro empresarial no município de São Luís - MA a partir da Lei 11.598/2007

Abstract

Business registration is essential for the entrepreneur to carry out his activities on a regular basis, in Brazil the formalization of a company has always been seen as a very exhausting, time-consuming and bureaucratic process, something that discouraged the entrepreneur from regularizing himself, as he faced numerous difficulties to register your business. On December 3, 2007, with the aim of reducing bureaucracy in this process and promoting entrepreneurship, the Federal Government enacted Law No. 11,598 National Network for the Simplification of Registration and Legalization of Companies and Businesses (REDESIM). In this context, this article aims to verify the applicability of REDISIM in the Commercial Board of Maranhão through the digital platform Empresa Fácil, the impacts and reflexes of technological advancement in business registration. The methodology is a basic, exploratory, descriptive and mixed research. In order to find out if there was a reduction in bureaucracy in this process, an interview was carried out with accounting

professionals who work in the area of registration, regularization and company write- off in the city of São Luís through an electronic form in May/2022, data were collected, obtaining if 46 answers, the results show that the changes that occurred after Law 11.598/2007 were positive, having as main impacts: agility, reduction of time to register a company, reduction of bureaucracy, among others.
