Proposta de uma edificação estudantil de uso misto como inclusão social de universitários no bairro Renascença

Abstract

This work has as main objective to elaborate a preliminary study of a student building of mixed use, with university dwellings and shops in the Renaissance neighborhood of the city São Luís. The specific objectives are to discuss the importance of student housing in the social inclusion of university students. To characterize a building of mixed use. To identify the requirements of the spatial quality for university dwellings. Due to the great demand of students entering educational institutions UNDB and UNICEUMA, the number of people who move to the city after a start in academic life or even people who have difficulty getting around their institutions because of the distance to the institutions. Knowing all this information, the proposal is born of the elaboration of a preliminary study of a student building in proximity to the institutions previously highlighted, seeking to meet the maximum university students and their needs. The research is subdivided in some parts, where we have the method of quantitative approach, has applied nature and its objectives are characterized as exploratory. And as a result, we have a preliminary study that is guided by the concept of collective living, where it seeks to have a building that works almost as an extension of the academic institution, in this way, the project seeks the well-beingbe collective through comfort and quality of the environments and for this, was directed to have areas that were safe, comfortable and that provided moments of leisure and socialization.
