Implementação de práticas de lean construction em obras: uma revisão de literatura

Abstract

The present work has as its theme the implementation of lean construction practices in works. The objective of the study is to analyze the Lean Construction methodology, focusing on civil construction works through a literature review, recognizing its importance as a construction technique. The research has an exploratory objective, using the hypothetical-deductive method of analysis, with a qualitative approach, with the proper use of the main techniques used in lean construction, as well as the use of theses and scientific materials from renowned authors and materials already published about the theme. The study methodology is configured as a qualitative and literature review, considering that there was an analysis of the technical aspects of the subject under study, of the construction of works through the lean method. During the study, it was possible to observe the importance of the theme on the lean method, as it focuses on trust, respect and responsibility in all aspects of the project in question. The teams work together as a unit to discover value, innovate and align goals from the beginning of the project. Collaboration during the pre-construction process helps to avoid rework, conflict and costly problems at the site, all of which delay production and can negatively affect the quality of the output. The conclusion of the study, finally, showed that the Lean Construction method demonstrated that there is an increase in the number of successful projects and the involvement of stakeholders at all levels. Much of these results are due to higher productivity and employee engagement rates. Employees are involved in the project from the beginning and understand their role in success better. They are also given an environment that allows them to work more productively.
