Fluxo digital na odontologia moderna: revisão de literatura

Abstract

The theme of this paper comes to discuss the Digital Flow as the principal method for the rehabilitation of the anterior sector, as the best tool to reach the final objective of reestablishing the function and aesthetics of a patient with this need. Digital flow in modern dentistry is the set of working methods that provide a fluid and efficient treatment, with the use of technological equipment, reducing chances of failure of conventional methods, and providing better previsibility and excellence to the final result. This research aims to explain the advantages of dental treatment using digital flow and the benefits for everyone involved in the treatment. The bibliography used in this literature review was conducted through the electronic databases LILACS, SCIELO, and MEDLINE, using scientific studies from 1995 to 2020, in English and Portuguese languages. In the world of digital flow there are cost limitations for using these new technologies. However, digital technology has been evolving and bringing new innovations to the market every year, offering several advantages and new tools for patient treatment. Therefore, cost reduction and flexibility over time is also real, making accessibility to this technology more common nowadays.
