Holocausto: a contribuição deste genocídio para a criação da Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos

Abstract

The present monographic work is concerned with analyzing the Holocaust as a motivation for subsequent global cooperation among States in order to avoid future conflicts through organizations and declarations studied by the Public International Law. For the accomplishment of this monograph the hypothetical-deductive method was used and a research that was characterized as descriptive about the objectives and as for the technical procedures has a bibliographic survey. The general objective is to analyze the contribution of the Holocaust to the creation of the Declaration of Human Rights. Specifying the desired objectives, it is intended, at a first moment, to describe the historical context of the holocaust together with the elements that motivated this event, highlighting the great world wars and Nazism. Through this search, it is sought to identify the main consequences of this genocide, emphasizing the emergence of the Nuremberg Tribunal and the Jewish State. Finally, want to understand how the holocaust influenced the formation of the United Nations responsible for approving the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
